1. His cheeks are probably my very favorite thing about him. I love love love to kiss his soft chubby cheeks!
2. He smells so good! Scott oils and massages him once a week with lavender oil and I love the way that smell mixes with his own personal scent. I like to breath him in almost as much as I like to kiss him.
3. He has such a lovely smile and he shares it often.
4. His eyes are bright and beautiful.
5. His innie belly-button is so adorable! Just like his whole little body.
6. I love the way he kicks his legs when he is excited.
7. He looks intently at me while he's nursing. I could just look into his eyes all day. Can you tell I'm totally in love?
8. Everyone else loves him, too. Most people remark on what a calm and happy baby he is.
9. He usually only wakes up once during the night to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Sometimes (but not all this past week) he sleeps all night long!
10. He looks so cute and peaceful while he sleeps. I love to peek in on him during naps.
11. He loves to be outside. Laying on a quilt in the sun is just about his favorite thing (next to eating).
12. He is so content to sit in my lap and observe. I love to have him with me and know that he will not always be content to sit still in my lap so I'm soaking it up now.
13. He can hold up his head (better) so I can carry him upright in my sling. We are both happier like that. So hooray for neck strength!
14. He adores Soren and Carl.
15. I like to help him stand up and he enjoys the vantage. He has such strong (and long) legs!
16. He can entertain himself. He loves to play with his hands or just look around when I am busy.
17. Nursing him is so relaxing. I love our time snuggling together on a comfy chair while he eats. In the afternoons, I often take a nursing nap and it is very refreshing.
18. He is healthy and strong. He is gaining weight steadily, sleeping regularly, and developing normally. That is always a relief.
19. I love the squeal of delight me makes when someone is talking to him or bouncing him. He is very social.
20. He has been a catalyst for growth in my life. I have been granted greater strength and energy to meet the challenges of each day. And I need it, so I am grateful for that blessing.
